Description
Body
The body should have a slate blue under color next to the skin followed by a crisp clean pearl white intermediate band. The surface of the coat should be pearl white intermixed with black. The intermediate band should be equal in width to the under color. The head, outside of ears, back, hindquarters, sides of body, upper side of tail, and outside of feet should match the body color. The Belly should be pearl white with a slate blue under color next to the skin. The Chin, Jowls, nostrils, eye circles, inside of ears, underside of tail, and inside of feet should match the belly color.
Eyes
May be Brown or Blue Gray in color.
Nails
Nail color is dark.
Faults
Poor Band/Ring definition, muddy intermediate band color, too wide or too thin in width of intermediate Band/Ring, too dark or too light in surface color, mealiness in color, frosting (light ticking), uneven color, scattered white hairs.
Disqualifications
no ring/band definition, white or off colored spots, white or mismatched nail color, ruby glow to eyes, sable agouti rather than chinchilla in color, lack of undercolor on belly, brindling or tricolor spots.
